Smoked Black Cod Taco’s with Asian Slaw


1 lb. Smoked Black Cod
1 medium size head of red cabbage
2 Tbs.sesame oil
4 Tbs.seasoned rice vinegar
1 Tsp. Sugar
1 Tbs.fresh squeezed lime juice
2 Tbs. toasted sesame seed
Sea salt
Fresh ground pepper
1 large avocado or 2 small


For Asian slaw shred one medium head of red cabbage in a large bowl.
Add sesame oil, seasoned rice vinegar, sugar, lime juice and sesame seeds toss together until all cabbage is coated. Add sea salt and fresh ground pepper to taste. Refrigerate for 15 minutes. While Asian Slaw is marinating, debone the smoked black cod. There is a natural split in the filet , you will feel the bones with your fingers on both sides of the split , pull out bones and discard. Flake the deboned smoked black cod and set aside. Slice avocado into thin slicesand heat tortillas. Layer warm tortillas with Asian Slaw, smoked black cod, and slices of avocado. We like topping it with Tapatio Hot Sauce. Hope you enjoy!
